| Keystone Machine Inc. is a precision machining job shop and contract manufacturer. The company?s 27,000 square foot facility is located in Littlestown, Pennsylvania, just over the Maryland line, centrally located between Westminster, MD and Gettysburg, PA. The company has been in business since 1987. The current employment is 30 machinists, assemblers and overhead personnel.
Keystone has been successful providing competitively priced, high precision, machined components to customers in industries such as; power tools, military ordnance, earth moving equipment and man lifts. Electrical and mechanical assembly is another service we can provide. Some of our assemblies are complex with up to approximately one hundred parts and requires UL and CSA test board compliance and inspection at the manufacturing site.
In the area of quality, we are MIL STD 45208 and 45662 certified. Currently, we are in process of implementing ISO 9002 certification. We utilize real time SPC to monitor and report component quality to our customers and have achieved ?certified supplier? status to several of our customers.
The systems at Keystone are highly integrated and up to date. Impact Encore, a state of the art ERP, system is designed to control inventories, manage production, purchases, sales, accounting and cost control functions. Sales orders are received by EDI. The Engineering Department uses AutoCad for design and Master cam for CNC processing. All CNC programs are controlled and downloaded to machines by DNC. |
