The Palumbo Group has a broad base of experience. The firm was established through historic preservation work and grew with local, state and federal government projects. Our firm has also worked in healthcare, industrial, commercial and educational design. Since 1985 The Palumbo Group has been the Architect of Record for the Scranton School District. In that capacity we have gained valuable experience with projects requiring aggressive schedules and complex solutions. We have also worked for the State System of Higher Education and private colleges and universities.

The Palumbo Group's success and the success of a project depend on our delivery of multi-disciplined professional services. Integration of architectural details with engineering systems is essential. Our engineering department provides civil, structural, HVAC, and plumbing designs and coordinates all engineering disciplines through our office. Our Architects and Engineers are involved from the conceptual phase through completion of construction to ensure the integrity of our architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems.
Computer Aided Design (CAD)
The Palumbo Group applies state-of-the-art technologies throughout every project. In-house design systems include IBM/PC compatible hardware with full multi-media capabilities. This enables our firm to develop an effective dialogue with our clients and rapidly analyze alternate solutions throughout the design process. Following industry standards, The Palumbo Group operates AutoCAD Release 14 and 2000 Design and Drafting software as well as other third party applications, in order to take full advantage of 3-D modeling, computer graphics, rendering and construction documentation production.
